Books & Meows is a combination of a used book store and a cat lounge! The cats are from FILL IN and are all available for adoption. Our guests can spend time relaxing, visiting, reading, playing games, studying, working, or playing with the cats!
Books & Meows was founded by Nicole Puryear out of her love of cats and books. Nicole has many pets and is known to her friends as someone who deeply cares for animals. She has also spent years promoting literacy, especially for children. Since Nicole can’t adopt every cat that needs a home herself, she decided to open Books & Meows to connect cats that need furever homes with people who need a place to read, relax, or work, all in the company of cats.
